Wouldnt make much sense to trade Drouin at the point. He gave up their top D prospect for him and personally Drouin has been the only bright spot. I think if he were traded the GM would be fired. The defence was decimated during the offseason. They have maybe 1 or 2 guys from last season....

I like how in all these hypothetical trades, the throw in on Colorado's side always seems to be Barrie or Landeskog.

If Barrie is coming back to MTL, I think dealing Mete won't be a problem. MTL has Weber, Petry and Alsner. With Barrie that would make a good top 4.

So, if Duchene and Barrie for Mete, Gally, 1st and another prospect is the cost, I think MTL has to do it. With Price's age/contract it doesn't make sense to trade off pieces and rebuild. Duchene and Pacs, with Drouin could be a pretty good line imo. They do need some sandpaper, so if Landeskog could come for Juulson, I would do that too.

Wings trade Sheahan and a 5th Rd pick to Pens for Wilson and a 3rd per TSN. Wings also trade Sproul to Rangers for Puempel. I got this one Ek.
